The use of knowledge bases may be applied in a diverse set of scenarios, ranging from a shared, collective repository into an individual, private use. Due to the broad scope of potential use, the case studies were organized by the number and structure of their users.

People naturally share knowledge with friends and groups of common interests. With the right tool this interaction can be more effective and transferred knowledge can be incrementally organized for future use. The dynamics that reasoning algorithms provide, can also enhance the community experience. In this context we are looking into demonstration scenarios like thematic forums, conferences, or interest groups.

Knowledge shared between members of a collective organization to support in its pursue for its goals. By maintaining a common knowledge base that describes the concepts and elements handled by the organization members, and their evolution over time, the system can assist the users on their daily tasks and act proactively to call their attention to what matters. In this context we are looking into demonstration scenarios like multi-project management, company management, systems administration.

In our day to day life we are constantly faced with information that we would like to explore further but is not the right moment. With a simple and intuitive tool we can store that information for later transform it into knowledge or actions. With automated reasoning algorithms, we may even get to feel that we have a personal assistant with us.

Starting from a core knowledge-oriented storage, layers of algorithms and interfaces allow to build business-oriented solutions.

Ready to be used as an out-of-the-box application in a shared cloud infrastructure, it may also be personalized and extended to match specific requirements.
